South Lanarkshire Libraries are proud to present ‘Space 2026’, our Summer Reading Challenge for.. 2026! As always, the challenge is for primary school-aged children and is completely free. All that’s required is a library card! Children will be able to set their own challenge of how many books (these can be library books or from elsewhere) to read during the summer break, and will receive rewards for completing the challenge. Space 2026 launches in all of our libraries on Saturday 20 June, and runs until Saturday 15 August - giving children plenty of time to read for enjoyment and get rewards.
Bookbug supports families to read, sing and play with their little ones from birth to give them the best start in life.
It is a free, fun and friendly session for babies, toddlers and children under 5 years of age.
